Professional Experience

June 2008 – October 2008 : 3D Artist at 1 Decembrie 1918 University
Working on a project called “The circuit of the three fortresses”. The goal of this project was to
create high quality animation videos of the Apulum Citadel for use in a web application.
-Modelling and texturing roman buildings (barrack, granary, temple, gate)
-Lighting and optimizing the environment scene for rendering
-High quality rendering and final compositing for educational short movies

May 2008 – July 2008 : Instructor at 1 Decembrie 1918 University
Summer seminar ” Learn Autodesk Maya 2008″ organized by the Computer Science department. I
worked closely with a professor and a colleague to teach a group of 10 students. I also provided
course material and demos created by me.

February 2008 – May 2008 : 3D Artist at The National Museum of Union
Working on the “Discover Urban Archaeology! Apvlum 2007″ project with a numerous team of
archaeologists, historians and 2D artists. My main activities included:
- Modeling and texturing a roman public building
- Rendering and compositing for a an animation movie

March 2007 – October 2007 : 3D Artist at 1 December 1918 University
Working on the “3D Virtual Museum” project financed by the National Cultural Administration Fund.
The goal of this project was to create a virtual reality system that allows users to interactively
explore and visualize a Roman Citadel. My responsibilities included:
- Modeling and texturing different roman props
- Modelling and texturing roman buildings
- Modelling, texturing and rigging roman characters
